It’s been a sizzlin’ hot year for soap-star babies, and another steamy-drama couple’s pregnancy has just popped.
Robert Adamson and Linsey Godfrey, perhaps better known for their roles as Noah Newman on The Young and the Restless and Caroline Spencer Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful delivered a healthy baby girl, reports Soap Opera Digest.
In classic celebrity-bay-naming fashion, the couple chose the unique name of Aleda Seren Adamson for their newborn daughter. Nope, sorry gang, we don’t know exactly how to pronounce that one either.
Aleda (often pronounced similarly to Oo-lee-dah) stands for small, prosperous winged one and is a form of the Old German name Alda.
As for the gal’s middle name, Seren, that is a Welsh name for girls, meaning star and pronounced Seh-ren.
It was hilarious that, since the couple’s work colleagues on set were not informed of the baby girl’s chosen name before her arrival, she was being referred to as Ingeborg Trudy Matula. Obviously, the crew’s guesses were not correct.
Well, with boldness, good looks, youth and restless irreverence on her side, Aleda Seren Adamson is sure to be one foxy-smart California lady. Welcome to the world, precious little one! And congratulations to the joyful, young Hollywood family.
