Channing Tatum and Wife Jenna Name Baby Girl Everly Tatum

This tiny dancer’s a baby girl! Action film star Channing Tatum, 33, and his actress-dancer wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum, 32, greeted their newborn on May 31st, in London, reported TV Guide.

Her lovely name is Everly Tatum, we’ve just discovered.

News of the baby’s arrival spread via an announcement the couple displayed on the website, ChanningTatumUnwrapped.com. The message read, “Welcome to the World!” in pretty all-cap lavender letters.

The following message accompanied the website announcement: “Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Channing Tatum are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter, Everly Tatum, who was born on May 31st in London. Sending love and light to Chan, Jenna, and Ms. Everly!”

The couple relocated from California to London while Dad was filming Juniper Ascending, which is set to be released in 2014, reported US Weekly magazine. The two lovebirds met back in 2006 on the set of the film Step Up when they heated up the dance floor playing a ballerina (Dewan) whose dance partner is replaced by a hot-to-trot street dancer (Tatum). Fan us already–that was hot!

Of course we applauded when the two started saucing it up off-screen, too, and three years later got hitched.

The baby girl’s arrived just in time to see her daddy’s new daredevil screen work.

Tatum is set to make a big-screen appearance in White House Down, an action-packed film directed by Roland Emmerich that premieres in movie theaters on June 28.

She may be a wee bit young to take in a feature-length film. But when Mom’s new project, the television series Witches of East End (based on Melissa de la Cruz’s best-selling novel), appears on Lifetime later in the year, Everly may slightly begin to make sense of it all, realizing these two new parents of hers are quite a big Hollywood deal.

Everly is sure to be a shining star, and quite the toe-tapper, in her own right, with this passionate and powerful celeb couple lighting the way. Congratulations to the happy family!
