Score one for the boys’ team. Third time was a charm for award-winning 37-year-old country crooner Dierks Bentley, already a dad to two daughters, who has now become a father to a baby boy, the latest addition to the family who made his appearance on October 9, reports People.
The country boy was given the name Knox by Mom Cassidy and Dad Dierks and is joined by elder sibs 5-year-old Evalyn Day and 2-year-old .
Knox was originally a Scottish surname meaning from the hills. The baby name ranked number 368 in the U.S. in 2012, and is a treasure not yet over-used by the masses. Dad’s name is also quite unique. Dierks is Dutch and North German in origins and means ruler of the people.
If he’s anything like his outdoorsman father and nature-loving sistes, Knox will fit in simmingly into the family’s adventures, from fishing to camping to hiking.
Well wishes to the blossoming Hollywood family.
