Elton John and David Furnish welcomed their second son, Elijah, on Jan. 11 and finally debuted the baby in a touching family portrait to People today complete with two-year-old big brother Zachary.
The tot’s full name, Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John (that’s a mouthful!), follows in a British tradition of giving double middle names (big brother is Zachary Jackson Levon).
However, Zachary’s name isn’t quite as biblical, with Elijah sporting an all out Hebrew name. Elijah means “God is Lord,” Joseph, “The Lord’s addition (to the family)” and Daniel can be deciphered as “My judge is God.”
What are your thoughts on Elton and David’s name choice?
