Christina Aguilera’s baby bump has had its day in the spotlight (and centerfold in V magazine, appearing front and center in Mom’s nude photos for the pub) and now it’s time for the actual celebrity baby to take over. The 33-year-old Grammy-toting pop star and her man, film producer-slash-The Voice coach Matt Rutler, delivered a healthy baby girl in the city of angels, reports Us Weekly.
The couple’s first baby together was given the name Summer Rain Rutler.
The nature name of that pleasant, fun-loving and carefree, not to mention warm and sunny time of year, the name summer has been tepid in the popularity ranks of baby names given in the U.S. in recent years. Its recent spike was in 2010, when the baby name was the 164th most popular baby name given that year. In 2013, the name summer ranked 188th in popularity, according to Social Security Administration data.
Rain, another nature baby name, means abundant blessings from above. Its origins are English and the Rain is used for both boys and girls. Unique spellings include Raine, Reine and Rayne.
She’ll have an able-bodied protector in older brother Max Liron, who is 6 years old, and son to Mom and her first husband Jordan Bratman,
Congratulations to the fetching and talented Hollywood family. Wishing the crew many happy memories.
