New York Giants’ Growing Families: Defensive End Justin Tuck and Wife Lauran Welcome Son Jonah

So apparently, it is a budding time for celeb-athlete families, as we’ve just heard of another (New York Giant player, no less) pro footballer who experienced the delightful arrival of his second son in June, as reported by NFL.com, making this beautiful family now four.

Justin Tuck, defensive end for the New York Giants, and his wife Lauran, brought their second baby boy into the world on Father’s Day (yes, this is precious, isn’t it?).

Celeb-athlete Dad let the news trickle down to his fan base via Twitter post, from his handle @JustinTuckNYG91 to some 172,000 followers. Ecstatic Dad wrote that his Father’s Day went to “EPIC status.” Tuck topped off the announcement with an adorable Instagram photo of the swaddled newborn boy, along with the message, “God is Great.”

The handsome couple chose the name Jonah Frederick Tuck for their second boy, who weighed 7.86 lbs. and 21 inches on arrival, and was welcomed by older brother Jayce. The baby-boy name is Hebrew in origin, and means dove, the global symbol for peace.

Congratulations to another happy, healthy and growing celeb-athlete family. Hip, hip, hurrah for the (well, this blogger’s)  beloved home team.
