It’s twice as much baby, and twice as much fun for Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, 30 and his Spanish-actress wife Elsa Pataky, 37, who have brought twin baby boys into the world in Los Angeles.
The boys’ names were just recently released, a few weeks after their birth, to be Tristan and Sasha. Makes sense entirely seeing as Dad’s claim to fame was playing Thor in Marvel films’ 2011 production by that name (and in the later sequel).
Tristan, a Welsh name meaning the loud one, was ranked 89th in popularity for baby boy names in 2012 in the US. Sasha is a Slavic name, meaning warrior, and the pet form of Alexander.
They’ll be joined by a big sis named India Rose, who will be 2 in May.
The Fast and Furious 2 and Snakes on a Plane Spanish actress star and her Avengers catch married in 2010, over Christmas weekend, in Hemsworth’s homeland Down Under.
Congrats to this international-star-studded family!
