Woohoo! Belly Ballot’s National “Belly Branding” Contest Winner is…

We’d like to congratulate Natasha Hill of Los Angeles, CA…our “Belly Branding” National Contest Winner!!!

We announced our contest here earlier this month to find the perfect parent willing to let the world decide their baby’s name.  After receiving a number of wonderful entries we ultimately selected Natasha to share her Belly Ballot with everyone and let them vote for their favorite choice.

“I’m so excited to have won!!” said Natasha, “I think the whole Belly Ballot concept is so social and fun, and can’t wait to see what everyone votes for!”

Natasha’s Facebook Announcement

Natasha announced her pregnancy on January 30th, and has been looking for baby names ever since.  ”I don’t think I want to know what the sex is before the actual birth,” said Natasha. “I’d like to have names picked out with an element of surprise when he or she is finally born.”

In Natasha’s entry she answered that if she were to win the contest she would spend half the money on credit card debt, and the rest would go into a college fund for her new baby.

What Happens Next?

In the coming days, we will create Natasha’s Belly Ballot and prepare the open voting to commence on March 18th and continue through March 22nd.  We will select a number of currently trending names, and names sponsored by our Advertisers, to be listed on the ballot.  Anyone will be free to vote for 1 girl name and 1 boy name each (only 1 vote will count per person for each though).  The girl and boy name with the most votes when the ballot concludes on March 22nd will be the name Natasha will name her baby!

“We are so happy to bring Belly Ballot’s fun social experience to everyone,” said cofounder Lacey Moler. “Natasha is a wonderful choice and we can’t wait to see what the world decides for her new baby’s name.”

Stay tuned for more details on the voting!
